How to Improve Your Push Ups Technique

Improving your push up score starts with the correct technique and a properly constructed training program.

Unfortunately, there are lots of trainers still focusing on “3 set of this and 10 reps of that” which is your typical one size fits all approach. Not good enough! To get the best results and improve your push up the score you need to be able to progress through your training program as your body starts to adapt and respond to the training. The program Mark and I constructed for you guys, our police applicant clients are exactly that, progressive.

What does progressive mean? It simply means that the difficulty and resistance level increases as your push-ups improve. This ensures you continue to improve and don’t get stuck on a certain number of push-ups you simply can’t get beyond. Our push ups training program is structured with 5 difficulty levels to ensure you progress through the program when the timing is right for you. Our program is available at our online shop if you want to find out more about it.

Long term, you must have the right training program, but, I know you’re impatient so here’s a little tip if you’re just needing a little helping hand to push past that blockage in the pipe!

Thanks, Jay for being my crash test dummy!
