3 Key Ingredients to your Police Fitness Training

To pass the police fitness test you need to follow 3 key ingredients

In this video, we summarise the ingredients that you need in your training to ensure that you gain the results that you want. There are really three areas that you need to make sure you’re following in order to give yourself the best chance of getting the best results from your training.

The first is, of course, you’ve got to have the right training program. If you do not have the right training then you are not going to get the right results and it is a little bit like a chef having a crappy recipe. You can produce a crappy meal even if you are a good chef. The recipe, or the blueprint, or the program needs to be the right program for what you are preparing yourself for.

Secondly, of course, you have got to put in the work. You’ve got to make sure your training is at a good high intensity. If you are not pushing yourself to that comfort zone and then a little beyond, you are simply not going to increase your fitness because you are not giving your body any motivation to do that. If you are working within this comfort zone, you’ve got to push it nice and hard to force your body to adapt and to become stronger, faster, fitter, depending on what your training is all about. So the intensity is important, that’s number two.

The third is you need to gain back it up. You’ve got to be consistent. There’s no good doing a couple of days of really good high training sessions then slacking off for a week. You need to be consistent. You need to keep focused and keep following up those sessions. Train hard, recover, and get back in and train again. You might see from some of our vide, s, in particular our weekly training that our clients come along regardless if it rains or shines. Our clients are committed and they are consistent that’s why they are getting the results. So a quick recap, if you’re not improving, you’re getting a little bit stuck, or you’re in a bit of rut, make sure that you’re still sticking with the correct training programs and ensure that your intensity is genuine and that is high and make sure that you are backing it up week after week and you’re being consistent.

If you did get those three ducks in a row, things are going to fall into place for you. Okay, guys, that’s enough for me get out there and get stuck in your training and I look forward to seeing you in another session soon or in the next video.
